Fort Negley was constructed during the Civil War by the Union Army about 2 miles outside of Nashville, TN. After the war the fort fell into disrepair until the 1930’s when it was refurbished and rebuilt. During and following World War II the fort once again fell into disrepair until it was refurbished again in 2000. Hopefully we can keep it from being destroyed this time.
