Maybe many parts of the country are the same way but during the fall months Tennessee has a lot of outdoor festival-type events. I’m not sure whether it’s to celebrate an end to the hot, humid months of summer or to celebrate the upcoming harvest or something else, but there are always several of them.
I went to one today called the Music and Molasses Festival at the Ellington Agricultural Center here in Nashville. Brilliant fall weather, the trees starting to change to their fall colors, and mild October temperatures brought out a lot of people to visit the event. Blue grass music, arts and crafts, food, and kids having fun with the animals. As usual I just wandered around taking photographs and had a great time doing so.
