I’m a native born Tennessean and have lived in the middle Tennessee area all of my life.
I’ve had an interest in photography for most of my life however that interest, like many things in life, ebbs from time to time. I had an after-school job in a camera shop when I was young, and pretty much had the run of the place. I had permission to use just about any camera in the shop so I played with anything and everything I could lay my hands on. I learned about darkroom techniques and for years processed my own photographs, both black and white and color.
After our latest move within the area I didn’t have the urge to build another darkroom so my interested faded for a number of years. It was reborn several years ago with the introduction of digital photography and I have been going strong ever since.
I’m not a professional photographer and would categorize myself as an advanced amateur. I have a job that I enjoy and have never had the urge to pursue a career in photography so it’s just a hobby for me. I enjoy the freedom of being able to pick up my camera and go somewhere when I want to, on my own schedule and at my own pace. I don’t want to be shackled by timetables and schedules and clients, I just want to be able to shoot what I want when I want. Luckily I’m in a position where I can do just that.
The pages on this site reflect my own personal interests and provide a glimpse of my home state through my cameras. I hope you enjoy some of them and will drop by again some time. The collection is always growing and expanding and will continue to do so as long as I can still get out and enjoy Tennessee.

About This Web Site
This web site is an offshoot of my other web site at CraigCentral.Com and is primarily oriented toward my photography efforts. My other site was established in 1996 and moved to the CraigCentral domain in 2001. It shows an eclectic mix of my hobbies over the years, and since the photography section was starting to take up a great deal of space I decided to move it to a site of its own at this domain.
It should be noted that both of my web sites are 100% “Commercial Free”. There are no advertisements nor is there anything for sale. That has been my policy from the very beginning and it will continue to be so. I detest web sites covered with advertisements and mine will never join those ranks.
