The Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park opened in 1996 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Tennessee’s statehood. The park resides on 19 acres located near the Tennessee State Capitol in downtown Nashville. It is a beautiful refuge surrounded by the clutter of the city of Nashville. Consisting of walkways and commemorative statues and areas it serves as a reminder of Tennessee’s history to all who visit. |
