2013 Hunters Auto Expo

The 2013 Hunters Auto Expo was held at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds on March 9 & 10.  I went on Saturday since I have something else to do on Sunday.  As usual the dilapidated Tennessee State Fairgrounds buildings showed some amazing color and shine for a little while, unfortunately they will go back their drab, utilitarian appearance on Monday.  But for now let’s look at some gorgeous machines!

 

2012 Hunters Auto Expo

The 2012 Hunters Auto Expo was held at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds on March 10 & 11.  I went on Sunday for a little while and it was a pretty good show.  Hunters puts on a good show but the fairgrounds buildings are such a dump now that they are almost an embarassment.  It’s amazing to me that the government of this backwoods burg can want to flatten the fairgrounds and build office buildings there (this area is already covered with unoccupied office buildings) and can find the money for that yet they can’t find any money to renovate what is already there and making a profit for them.  OK, sorry, not the place for that but it’s a thorn in my side.  On to the photos! I didn’t photograph all of the cars there, probably less than 1/4 of them, so that gives an indication of how popular this event is each year.

 

2011 Hunters Auto Expo

The drab old buildings of the Tennessee State Fairgrounds were filled with bright colors and chrome this weekend as the Hunter’s Custom Auto Expo once again visited the facility.  Dozens of custom cars and trucks were on display for us mere mortals to drool over. I’ve included a number of photographs below however they really don’t do the machines the justice they are due.

 

2010 Hunters Auto Expo

The Hunter’s Custom Auto Expo was held at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds on March 13-14, 2010.  I went on the 14th primarily to take some photos.  There were a host of fantastic machines there, many of which brought back a lot of memories from my younger years when muscle cars were king.
